The easy way is in the app: open Settings, then Help, then Contact support. It starts an email that adds the app version, the phone’s system, the number of people in your household, your subscription state and the last sync error, and nothing else about you.

Common questions

How do I restore my purchase?

Open Settings, then Subscription, then Restore. The plans screen has a Restore button too. It looks for purchases made with the same App Store or Google Play account.

How do I delete my data?

In the app, open Settings, then Delete my data.

You need to be online to delete your data.

Deleting your data does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account.

More is on the privacy page.

How do I join a household with a code?

The first time you open the app, tap I have a household code and enter the code. If you already use the app, open Settings, then Household, then Join another household. The code is on the Household screen of the person who invited you, and their Invite button sends it to you with a link to the app.

I have a new phone. How do I get my plans back?

Enter your household code on the new phone, the same way as above. The code brings the household’s dinners and lists back. If you do not have it, ask someone in your household to read it to you from Settings, then Household.

How does one plan cover the whole household?

One plan covers everyone in the same household. Whoever started the plan can change or cancel it, under Settings, then Subscription. Everyone else sees the date the plan runs until.

How do I cancel?

Cancel in your App Store account or your Google Play account. Do it at least 24 hours before the current period ends so it does not renew.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Your dinners and lists open offline, and changes and ticks sync when you are back online. The first set-up and deleting your data need a connection.

Which dinners will it avoid for allergies?

Pick your allergies and food rules under Settings, then Food and allergies. We leave these out of suggestions. Always check labels.

How do I stop the usage counts?

The Share usage counts switch, in Settings under Help, is on until you turn it off. On a phone set to a region in the European Union, the EEA, Switzerland or the United Kingdom, or in a time zone in Europe, the app asks first, right after the welcome screen, and counts nothing until you answer. Turning the switch off stops usage counts at once. It does not cover crash reports.
